I am an Associate Professor at UNED, Spain, where I am part of METIS. I received my PhD from the University of Southampton in 2016 and I have been a postdoc at IFILNOVA, Lisbon, and UAM, Madrid. I am interested in different topics in normativity theory, epistemology and philosophy of language.
I am co-PI with Michele Palmira of the research project NANORIN: The nature and normativity of inquiry (funded by the Spanish government).
I am editor of the journal THEORIA: an international journal for theory, history and foundations of science.
(Note about my name: my given name is "Javier" and my full surname is "González de Prado Salas". For quotation purposes, you can just use the abbreviated surname "González de Prado").
